Sterling silver napkin ring. Silver has 'moon crater' effect created by a technique called 'reticulation'. The technique involved heating the silver to heating a sheet of gold or silver alloy up to ten times to oxidise the copper at the surface, then pickling to remove the oxide and leave a thin layer of pure metal.
