The rhythms of daily life in Shahpura, Rajasthan. This series captures the dignity, colour, and resilience of working people in India; from barbers and shopkeepers to street vendors and tradespeople. Each image tells a story, offering a glimpse into the routines, relationships, and remarkable character of everyday life.

Shot on location in the heart of Rajasthan, these portraits are not staged or romanticised. They are a respectful, honest record of real people at work, lathering a client’s chin, measuring spices, mending clothes, or pausing for a moment in the sun. What emerges is a multiple picture of texture and tone: the faded signage, the open front of a roadside shop, and the quiet intensity of human connection.
